I've only had my FD1000 Ezi Dri dehydrator for a couple of weeks, and already made a bunch of biltong and jerky with it. I really like that it goes down to 30 degrees celcius, and has a 48 hour timer (where I can leave it to run for 2 days) - perfect for making biltong. Also, it's very handy to have the feature where it reverts to 30 degrees celcius after the set time - which is just what I need when making jerky at 70 degrees celcius.
Smaller than my existing one but has better temperature control.
Loving the fd1000, huge step up from my old dehydrator where I had to change the racks. Can do a huge amount in one go. Bought the apple peeler/slicer/corer as well what a game changer
