Ezidri Privacy Policy — Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Hydraflow Industries NZ Ltd, trading as Ezidri ("Ezidri", "we", "us"), collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information when you visit www.ezidri.co.nz, buy from us, register a product, make a warranty, repair or return request, or otherwise deal with us. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and — where applicable — the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information we collect.

  • Browsing & device information — IP address, browser and device type, time zone, cookies, the pages and products you view and how you interact with our site, collected automatically.
  • Order & account information — name, billing and delivery address, email, phone, and order history.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay); we do not store your full card details.
  • Marketing information — where you opt in, your email and engagement with our emails.
  • Product registration — name, email, product and serial number, purchase details, any photo uploaded.
  • Warranty & repair requests — name, email, serial number, fault description, proof of purchase, photos.
  • Returns requests — name, email, order number, purchase date, serial number, reason, condition, photos.
  • Customer service correspondence — the content of emails/messages you send us.

How and why we use your information. To process and deliver orders; provide support; handle registrations, warranty, repair and return requests; process payments and prevent fraud; run and improve our site; and, with opt-in, send marketing. Where GDPR applies, our lawful bases are contract, legitimate interests, consent (marketing/non-essential cookies), and legal obligations.

Our customer service & business systems (Business Manager Portal). We operate an internal Business Manager Portal to run customer service, orders, warranty, repairs and returns. Your personal information may be processed by these providers ("processors") acting on our behalf under confidentiality/data-protection obligations:

  • Shopify — e-commerce platform (store/checkout/order data)
  • Supabase — secure database hosting for CS/warranty/repairs/returns records
  • Vercel — hosting for the portal + public forms (registration/warranty/returns)
  • Resend — transactional emails (invoices/confirmations)
  • Cloudflare — website security, spam protection and content delivery
  • Anthropic — Claude AI to help triage and draft CS email replies; drafts are reviewed by a person before sending, and your data is not used to train third-party AI models
  • Klaviyo — email marketing (opt-in only)
  • Google — CS email inbox and website analytics
  • Judge.me — product reviews (if you leave one)
  • Our third-party logistics provider (and, in Australia, the local AU fulfilment centre) — pick/pack/ship

We share only what each provider needs, and we do not sell your personal information.

Use of artificial intelligence. We use AI (Anthropic Claude) to help triage messages and prepare draft replies; a team member reviews and approves communications before they are sent. AI assists our staff and is not used to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Sharing your information. With the processors above, payment providers and couriers to complete your order, and where required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect our rights/safety. We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers. Some providers store/process data outside New Zealand (e.g. Australia, USA, EU). We take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection; for EU data we rely on safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies. Used to operate the site, remember your cart/preferences, measure traffic and (with consent where required) support marketing. Control them via your browser; blocking some may affect the site.

Retention. Kept only as long as necessary for the above purposes, including legal, accounting, warranty and tax obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights. Access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw marketing consent, at any time. Under GDPR you also have rights to restrict/object to processing, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email sales@ezidri.co.nz to exercise a right (ID verification may be required).

Complaints. Contact us first at sales@ezidri.co.nz. You may also complain to the NZ Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz), the Australian OAIC (oaic.gov.au), or your EU data protection authority.

Children. Not directed at children; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

European Union. EU sales are handled via a separate Ezidri website. Where we process EU personal data, we act as data controller and comply with GDPR (lawful bases, transfer safeguards, data-subject rights).

Changes. We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the current version.
