Jazz up your favourite dark chocolate with the addition of dried fruits and even petals made in your Ezidri dehydrator.
Calendula flowers were prolific at the end of winter and so were beautiful oranges, so we decided to marry the two together atop some delicious dark chocolate.
Ingredients:
- zest of 2 large oranges.
- petals from 6-8 calendula flowers.
- 200g of dark chocolate.
Method:
- Place the zest and petals on the mesh and dehydrate at 40ºC for 6-8 hours.
- Very gently melt your dark chocolate in a double broiler (bowl set over simmering water).
- Pour your chocolate out onto a lined baking tray and sprinkle over your toppings.
- Place in the fridge to set.
- Break into pieces and store in the fridge for a delicious little treat whenever the urge arises.
