Chewy Banana, Oat, Choc Chip Cookies

If you’re looking for a healthy yet indulgent treat, these raw chewy banana, oat chocolate chip cookies are the perfect solution! Made with wholesome ingredients like ripe bananas, dates, oats, and dark chocolate chips, these cookies are naturally sweetened, gluten-free, and packed with fibre and nutrients.

Ingredients:

2 large ripe bananas
10 medjool dates, pitted
1/2 cup almond butter
1 cup quick cook oats
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped

Method:

In a food processor, mix together the banana and dates until smooth.
Add the almond butter and pulse until combined.
Pour out into a bowl and stir through the oats, coconut and then the chocolate. Roll into golf ball sized balls.
Wet hands are useful here to stop the mixture sticking.
Place the balls on an Ezi Dri drying rack lined with a mesh sheet and flatten forming a cookie shape.
Top with an extra chocolate button if desired. Dehydrate at 70ºC for 10 hours. Store in an airtight container.
